Alli Fuoco
Leads by example. Loves a first-timer.
Alli trains first-timers and busy moms at Mount Sinai.
Alli joined a gym right out of high school and loved it immediately — the positive environment, the helping, watching people learn and change. It grew into something personal: she wanted to lead by example for her own kids, to be able to run, jump, and play with her family for years to come.
She chose Redefine for its community. The clients genuinely want to be there, everyone has a goal, and everyone supports each other — it feels like far more than a gym.
Who Alli works best with
First-timers, and moms who ignored their own health for years and are finally taking the time for themselves.
One of her clients came in shy and uncomfortable in her own skin. Now she walks in confident.
What most people get wrong
The old line that “muscle weighs more than fat.” A pound is a pound — but muscle is denser, so the scale can drop you into a trap. Alli coaches people to judge progress by how they move and feel, not by the number.
In Alli’s words
“I love first-timers, and I love moms who are finally taking time for themselves. I want you to see how much you’re actually capable of.”
What it takes to coach at Redefine
Nobody trains clients at Redefine Fitness without passing a screening test, an in-person skill practical, and a written exam just to get hired, then testing out of a 30-day onboarding against our 100-page Training Master Guide. Every Thursday from 1-2 PM we close both gyms so the entire staff trains together, and every specialist sits annual exams on a tiered education ladder. We also created a New York State Department of Labor approved Fitness Specialist apprenticeship. Fitness is medicine, and this is what the standard behind it looks like.
